About Us

Welcome to the Plastic Soldier Company (PSC) website. I hope you like our new look and functionality.

I am a lifelong wargamer and military history enthusiast, and founded PSC back in 2008 as I was frustrated by the limitations of soft polythene gaming figures. I wanted better. My objective is to produce models of a standard to satisfy the demands of the modeller, diorama builder, and wargamer with accurate period detail in both uniforms and weaponry.

We now have a substantial range of injection-moulded hard plastics for WW2 (over 250? models).  I am delighted that our ranges have been a popular choice for so many people, and would like to say a big thank you to our customers, especially the 8,500 on our mailing list.

I am very excited about the future of the hobby and PSC.  We are about to launch ranges – using a new technology – for Northag.  In 2020 we will be producing out first plastic ancients ranges.  This technology will also enable us to add some of the more esoteric equipment into existing ranges.

In 2012 We launched our first ruleset – Battlegroup by Warwick Kinrade. This WW2 set has become very popular and has expanded to XX rule and campaign supplement books.  This year we have agreed a deal to publish all of Simon Hall’s (Mortem et Gloriam) and future rulesets, which will create a suite of battle and skirmish rules covering all periods using his inventive colour system.  We also have our very own Dan Mersey (of Lion Rampant fame) on the team and have some future rules publishing projects with him.

In addition to figure games, PSC has published 13 boardgames. These include The Great War and Lincoln by highly regarded game designers Richard Borg and Martin Wallace
